Jewel is a Tibetan American, born in Madison, Wisconsin. She is currently a senior undergraduate student studying Biology with a certificate in Global Health, with future aspirations of becoming a primary care Physician Assistant. She has previous research experience in entomology and organic chemistry and is currently working as a CNA at UW Health. She also does a lot of volunteer work with Madison’s homeless population.
