Destiny is a Population Health PhD student in the School of Medicine and Public Health at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She earned her Master of Arts in International Affairs and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Loyola University Chicago. Currently, she is interested in exploring research related to transnational African immigrant maternal and child health– specifically examining doula and midwifery programs.
